The Garden Party and Lakeview Villa are the newest (September 2026); the Magnolia Mansion launched in June 2026 as an Amazon exclusive. The Majestic, Shimmer and Modern Charm are sold through Amazon rather than KidKraft's own site.
Which Dolls Fit
- 30 cm fashion dolls (Barbie and similar): every house above except the two cottages. A standard Barbie is about 29 cm.
- Small dolls around 12.7 cm: the Play & Store Cottage and Chelsea Doll Cottage.
- 46 cm (18 in) dolls: none of these. KidKraft made a separate, larger house for those dolls.

EZ Kraft and Assembly
EZ Kraft is KidKraft's bracket system for quicker set-up. Several models also come with 3D instructions in the free BILT app, which owners find easier than the paper sheets. A few tips:
- Sort the parts first and check them against the list before you start.
- Do the stickers last. Window and wall decals are the slowest part for most owners.
- Use the wall anchor. The big houses are well over a metre tall; KidKraft supplies an anchor kit to stop them tipping, and the Charlotte has a wall-attachment device.
What Owners Like and Don't
Praise: sturdy, heavy builds; big enough for several children to play at once; elevators and garages that keep kids busy.
Complaints: picture-only instructions on some models, slow sticker application, the occasional stiff elevator or damaged part (KidKraft sends replacements), and walls that are MDF and plastic rather than solid wood.
KidKraft vs the Barbie Dreamhouse
The Barbie Dreamhouse is plastic, about 114 cm tall and 157 cm wide, with 10 play areas, 75+ pieces, an elevator, a slide down three storeys and lights and sounds that need 3 AA batteries. KidKraft houses are wood and MDF, generally taller and shallower, and come with fewer pieces. Choose the Dreamhouse for play features; choose KidKraft for a sturdier, more traditional wooden house.
