About the Rowood Magic Piano Music Box
A retro-style wooden piano that works as a music box. A multi-stage gear set driven by a wound spring plays the music, so no batteries are needed. The kit has 233 pre-cut wooden pieces to assemble yourself.
Worth checking before you buy
- It has a music movement — the tune is usually fixed, so check the listing if a particular song matters to you.
- It requires assembly. Expect a first build to take longer than the listed time, and have fine tweezers and a little extra PVA glue on hand.
- It is rated for teens and adults. Small parts make adult kits unsuitable for young children.
