What LEGO Botanicals Are

LEGO's flower range began in January 2021 as the Botanical Collection, part of its sets for adults, and was renamed LEGO Botanicals in late 2024. It covers three kinds of set:

  • Bouquets β€” loose stems you arrange in your own vase. No vase is included.
  • Potted plants β€” orchids, bonsai, succulents and houseplants that come with their own pot or plinth.
  • Display pieces β€” a wreath, a flower wall and a table centrepiece.

Most sets are rated 18+ because the builds are fiddly, not because of the content. Since 2025 there are also 9+ sets, and three small add-on packs are rated 8+.

Every Current Set at a Glance

Piece counts and sizes are LEGO's; sizes are the finished height (and width where LEGO gives one). "On Amazon AU" means we found the set listed on Amazon Australia in October 2026 β€” the others are sold by LEGO and other Australian retailers.

Sets LEGO has retired or is phasing out β€” the Flower Bouquet (10280), Succulents (10309) and Dried Flower Centrepiece (10314) β€” still turn up from other sellers.

Bouquets Need a Vase

Every bouquet is sold as loose stems. A vase about 20 cm tall with an opening no wider than about 10 cm holds the stems upright without them splaying; a heavy base stops a tall bouquet tipping. LEGO has also sold buildable vases separately on its own website.

Several sets are designed to be combined: LEGO says the Roses and Sunflowers packs, the Tulip and Sunflower bouquets and the Bouquet of Pink Roses can go in the same vase as other Botanicals stems. Adding a small pack to an existing bouquet is the cheapest way to make it look fuller.

How Long They Take

LEGO doesn't give build times. As a guide, reviewers put the 756-piece Flower Bouquet at two to three hours. The small 100–300 piece sets are an evening; the 800–1,200 piece sets, like the Bonsai Tree, Wildflower Bouquet and Wreath, are a relaxed weekend. Some bouquets come with more than one instruction booklet, so two people can build at once.

Sets for Kids

If the person you're buying for is under 18, look at:

  • Daisies, Happy Plants and Rocking Plants (9+) β€” short builds with chunky results.
  • Petite Sunny Bouquet and Olivia Rodrigo's Flower Bouquet (9+) β€” real bouquets at a kid-friendly size.
  • Roses, Sunflowers and Cherry Blossoms (8+) β€” small packs that also add to an adult's bouquet.

Looking After Them

  • Dust: a soft make-up brush or a puff from an air blower is enough for regular dusting.
  • Washing: LEGO's advice is hand-washing in water no hotter than 40 Β°C with a little mild detergent, then air-drying. No dishwasher, washing machine or hair dryer.
  • Sunlight: keep them out of strong direct sun. Plastic colours can fade and white pieces can yellow over time.

Alternatives to LEGO

  • Brick-built bouquets from other brands are sold on Amazon, often described as "compatible with LEGO". Compatibility is the seller's claim; quality and colour matching vary.
  • Wooden flower kits from Robotime are laser-cut wood rather than bricks. Each flower is a short build β€” Robotime says about 30 minutes β€” and you combine several into a bouquet.
  • ROKR flower kits (also Robotime) are plastic bouquets that assemble without glue; some, like the Red Rose Bouquet, come with a bucket and wrapping paper.

Which One to Give

  • For someone new to LEGO: Mini Orchid or Lucky Bamboo β€” quick, and finished with a pot.
  • For a keen builder: the Bonsai Tree, Wildflower Bouquet or Wreath.
  • For someone who already has a bouquet: a Roses, Sunflowers or Cherry Blossoms pack to add to it.
  • For a child: Daisies or Happy Plants.

Frequently asked questions

Do LEGO flower bouquets come with a vase?

No. LEGO's descriptions of the bouquets β€” Flower Bouquet, Wildflower Bouquet, Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet and Daisies β€” say a vase isn't included. Potted sets such as the Bonsai Tree, Mini Orchid and Peace Lily come with their pot.

How long does a LEGO flower set take?

LEGO doesn't publish build times. Reviewers put the 756-piece Flower Bouquet at two to three hours, so similar-size sets take an afternoon and the 100–300 piece sets an hour or so.

Can you mix LEGO bouquets?

Yes. LEGO describes several sets, including the Roses and Sunflowers packs and the newer Tulip and Sunflower bouquets, as made to combine with other Botanicals sets in one vase.

Are LEGO flowers good for kids?

Most sets are rated 18+ for their fiddly builds. Since 2025 LEGO has added 9+ sets β€” Daisies, Happy Plants, Rocking Plants, Petite Sunny Bouquet β€” and the small Roses, Sunflowers and Cherry Blossoms packs are 8+.

How do you clean LEGO flowers?

Dust them with a soft brush or a puff of air. For a deeper clean, LEGO says to wash pieces by hand in water no hotter than 40 Β°C with a little mild detergent and let them air-dry β€” never in a dishwasher or washing machine, or with a hair dryer.
